VANISHING HORSEMEN- Eric Watson -(Selection Records) saw in Norma -the ultimate Balladeer-Story Teller- so he Produced two albums with Norma- considered by many as Norma's most significant album. An award winner-winning Norma her first Golden Guitar Award -for (The Firequeen) in Heritage, a very coveted Award. This Album signaled Norma's arrival-as one of this Countries most beloved & respected Songwriters. Here was someone- (a horsewoman-a Songwriter-Norma was the real deal! And the world of Camp Drafting- Rodeo- Ringers-Cowboys - not many Rodeos in Australia that this Album was not playing ! And many old Cowboys have been farewelled with some of these songs playing! The Camp drafter ,was requested (still is) at so many funerals-to see off so many old Camp Drafters! RM Williams -his song was featured at his final farewell- Stump Timmins- Stumpys family printed the lyrics in the eulogy!
