After a long absence from the music scene, Norma is back! This wonderful Aussie Singer/Songwriter has returned to the recording studio in Sydney, and completed album number ten. The faithful fans have certainly had to wait for this one. It has been no less than ten years since Norma's last album, which was the Live project all recorded and filmed in Bundaberg in the year 2000.  With nine other albums under her belt, Norma has certainly made her mark in the Australian country/folk scene.
Norma has certainly been busy during the last few years, moving from Uralla in NSW, up to the Warwick area in south west Queensland. Norma has had a big break, but now, is back in the saddle, and back on the road !

The new album title is "WHISKEY GULLY ROAD" and will certainly hit the spot with Norma's many fans. A wonderful collection of NOHara Murphy originals.With some classic new tracks that are bound to win over a whole new generation of fans. The old fans will love the album as well, with a typical splash of folk/country & contemporary tracks, tales of bushrangers and some strong messages. Songs that every Aussie can be proud of. Whiskey Gully Road is near Stanthorpe and the song is based on historical facts, back from the late 1800's when illegal whiskey stills operated in the area.
