This year 2026 a big busy time!

Norma Co ordinates Bony Mountain Festival ,held on her property at Bony Mountain Qld- this year marks the sixteenth year- a big milestone. I am very proud of our (Little Festival in the bush) - we started with a cow paddock- now a lovely big Marquee- Headquarters- The Shack- all built in the rustic style of the Pioneers- Ben, Norma s son has made it his project- and it keeps growing- A Blacksmith Shop- doubling as a Ukulele Shack- a VIP Bathroom ! A Bazaar- its all very (slab hut) style-but fits into the bush perfectly. Two old Antique stoves are all set to be lit -this year-both approx 100 yrs old- classic old wood stoves. Plus Ben has installed a wood fired Pizza oven- which everyone is going to love. I have also purchased a magnificent Clydesdale mare! Zarelda- she is just a Darling-I grew up with a Clydesdale- so it is very special for me to see her beautiful baldy face! She has come from a drought area-so working on getting her looking her best for the Festival!! I must admit Im spoiling her a bit- but she is a very special girl. The Festival is coming up fast- and preparations are full steam ahead- with mowing- Ben is grading our entrance roads- watering the Gardens- we have had rain- but its pretty dry really, Excited about our Super Sunday this year- doing a Big Lamb on a spit- with Camp oven vegies- yum! Weve just had a huge week here in Warwick with Jumpers & Jazz- the Leyburn Sprints just finished- seems to be so much happening.
